This is a cassette tape pressing of Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, one of the best-selling jazz albums of all time. Released in 1959, the album features Paul Desmond, Joe Morello, Eugene Wright, and Dave Brubeck, blending unusual time signatures with catchy melodies and insistent rhythms. Brubeck reflected, Creating a hit out of the odd-meter experiments of Time Out was the farthest from any of our minds it must be a serendipitous combination of a catchy melody, an insistent rhythm, and the general musical climate of the times.
