Experience the legendary tone of Peavey’s iconic amplifiers in a compact, pedalboard-friendly format with the Peavey VTM Preamp Pedal.
This overdrive effects pedal is a TransTube re-creation of the VTM 60/120 preamp circuit, celebrated by guitar heroes like Adrian Vandenberg and Steve Morse. Its design brings forth the dynamic character and tonal versatility these musicians relied upon without the bulk of a traditional amp.
The VTM Preamp Pedal is not just about nostalgia; it’s about precision and customization. With a unique 8-position DIP switch, you can tailor your sound to achieve everything from thick, crunchy power chords to soaring lead tones. The pedal offers a 3-band EQ and both Pre- and Post-gain knobs, allowing you to dial in your desired level of grit and depth with surgical precision. Whether you’re exploring genres ranging from rock to blues or metal to country, this pedal offers tonal control that adapts to your unique style.
Built with Peavey’s commitment to quality, the VTM Preamp Pedal also includes a Hard Bypass switch, ensuring your signal remains clean and direct when the pedal is not engaged. This makes it an ideal addition for both expansive rigs and minimalist setups, offering equal parts grit, depth, and control.
