IK Multimedia ARC Studio Upgrade is the hardware room correction processor supplied without a measurement microphone, for owners who already have an ARC mic from ARC software, iLoud MTM, iLoud Precision or an earlier ARC Studio. The processor is identical to the standard version: AKM Velvet Sound converters at 24-bit and 96 kHz, 32-bit float internal processing, 120 dB dynamic range and 1.4 ms latency in Natural Phase mode.

The same processor, minus the microphone you already own.

If you have already calibrated an iLoud monitor or run ARC software, the measurement microphone in your drawer is the same one that ships in the standard ARC Studio box. This version drops it.

Everything else is the same. Correction is measured with the ARC software and stored in the hardware, so it applies to the whole monitor path rather than just the DAW output. Natural Phase mode runs at 1.4 ms for tracking, Linear Phase at 42 ms for the most accurate correction during mixing and mastering.

Check what you own before ordering this version. If you do not already have an ARC measurement microphone, the standard ARC Studio with the microphone included is the version you want.

Why IK Multimedia?

IK Multimedia has been building music production hardware and software in Modena, Italy since 1996, with US operations in Sunrise, Florida. The company is behind AmpliTube, T-RackS, TONEX, the ARC room correction platform and the iLoud monitor range, and it designs its own DSP, converters and analog front ends rather than assembling reference designs.
