This is a double vinyl LP pressing of Collected by Marvin Gaye. The album is a compilation of some of his most significant songs from his career with Motown, which began in 1961. The collection features early hits like “Stubborn Kind of Fellow” (1962), “Pride And Joy,” and “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You).” It also includes his highly successful duets with Kim Weston (“It Takes Two”) and Tammi Terrell. The album highlights his biggest-ever hit, “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” (1968), as well as the title track from his 1971 masterpiece, What’s Going On, which is now considered one of the most important records in pop history.
