This collection presents 8 classic themes arranged for clawhammer banjo in G and G minor tunings. From Pachelbel and Bach to Rossini and Faur, the tabs and performance notes in this book cover some 200 years of music history. Using a style of playing more commonly associated with old-time and folk music, Jacob Waller demonstrates how to play these easy-to-advanced pieces with his online recordings. The selections range from the relatively simple Gallop Infernal/Can-Can by Offenbach to the more challenging Badinerie by Bach.

While this may be the first time you have seen the words Classics and Clawhammer in the same book title, all clawhammer players will find value in these arrangements and the authors insightful program and performance notes.
