The CAD Audio E70-3 is a small diaphragm condenser microphone includes cardioid & omni capsules. It sits in CAD Audio’s Equitek line of studio condensers, built for detailed vocal and acoustic instrument recording where clarity and low self-noise matter.

The condenser element uses a omnidirectional pickup pattern to keep the source in focus and reject off-axis noise. Sensitivity is rated at -40dBV (10mV) @ 1 Pa, and it handles peaks up to 155dB, so loud sources will not push it into distortion. Self noise is just 23 dBA, quiet enough for close recording work. In the studio it earns its place on vocals, acoustic instruments, and voiceover, and it is equally at home in a project room or a broadcast chair.
