The Astatic GN18VP is a 18 inch variable polar pattern gooseneck microphone. The flexible gooseneck puts the capsule exactly where the talker is, the standard choice for podiums, lecterns, and paging stations.

It covers 60 Hz – 16 kHz with a variable pickup pattern that rejects off-axis noise. At a podium or pulpit it delivers consistent, intelligible speech with the flexibility to position the capsule exactly where it needs to be. Astatic has built commercial and installed-sound hardware in the American tradition since 1931, and this piece continues that line: specified by integrators, trusted in courtrooms, council chambers, and houses of worship.
