This is a vinyl LP pressing of Marquee Moon by Television. Unlike the raw aggression of British punk, New Yorks 1970s punk scene often drew from and reinterpreted rocks foundations. Marquee Moon is a prime exampleTelevision didnt discard the past but instead deconstructed and rebuilt it, blending punk energy with intricate guitar work and poetic lyricism. The result is a landmark debut that helped redefine the possibilities of punk and art rock.
